2. Why Do We Use Cookies?

We use cookies and tracking technologies for the purposes described below. Data processing is based on user consent (Art. 7, I of the LGPD), except for essential cookies, whose processing is based on Plinfy's legitimate interest (Art. 7, IX of the LGPD).

  • Essential: Enable basic browsing functionality, security, account access, and authentication.
  • Functionality: Store user preferences such as language, account settings, and customizations.
  • Analytics / Performance: Collect information about how the website is used (pages, loading errors) to optimize performance.
  • Marketing / Advertising: Collect data about your profile and activity to display more relevant ads and measure the effectiveness of our campaigns on other websites.

2.1 Other Tracking Technologies

In addition to cookies, we use similar technologies, including:

  • Web beacons (tracking pixels): Monitor user interactions with our services and campaigns.
  • Local storage: Saves information in the browser to speed up page loading and personalize the user experience.

3. Third-Party Cookies and User Responsibility

Plinfy acts in two distinct roles regarding cookies and trackers:

3.1. Cookies Set by Plinfy

We use third-party cookies on our Platform, such as Meta (Meta Pixel), Google Analytics, and Google Tag Manager, for our own analytics and marketing purposes.

3.2. Cookies Set by Plinfy Users (Controller)

Plinfy allows its Users (those who create profiles/websites) to install their own tracking codes (e.g., a personal pixel) on their websites.

  • In this scenario, the Plinfy User (not Plinfy) is the Controller responsible for collecting and processing data from their own visitors ("Users of Users").
  • Plinfy is not responsible for legal compliance (consent, privacy notice) of trackers inserted by the User on their own profiles.

Plinfy visitors may separately control whether they accept or reject cookies set by Plinfy Users on their User Profiles through the consent tool.

4. Sharing, International Transfer, and Use Restriction

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with service providers, subject to the following policy:

4.1. Purpose Restriction

Plinfy establishes contractual guarantees with its third-party cookie and tracking partners (Google, Meta, etc.) that they will not use data collected through Plinfy for any purpose other than that described in this Policy or in our Terms of Service.

4.2. International Data Transfer

Data collected by cookies may be transferred to servers outside Brazil, in compliance with the LGPD, using mechanisms such as Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other adequate safeguards, as detailed in our Privacy Policy.

5. How to Manage Your Cookie Preferences?

You can control cookie use on Plinfy:

  1. Consent Tool: We provide a Cookie Preferences panel that lets you review and adjust your settings at any time, enabling or disabling each cookie category separately (except essential cookies).
  2. Browser Settings: You can manage, block, or delete cookies manually through your browser. However, disabling some cookies may impact platform functionality.

For transparency and compliance, Plinfy records and stores cookie consent logs and any revocations.

6. Data Subject Rights

Under the LGPD, the data subject may at any time exercise the rights of confirmation of processing, access, correction, deletion, revocation of consent, portability, anonymization, blocking, or deletion of unnecessary data. To exercise these rights, contact Technical Support.

7. Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in legislation or our processes.

7.1 Regular Review Instruction

We recommend reviewing this Cookie Policy regularly to stay informed about our use of cookies and related technologies. The most recent version will always be available on our website.
